Company Terms

Terms for businesses that create or use a company account.

Effective date: [●]

1. Scope and authority

These Company Terms apply to a business that creates or uses a company account on Ejumah. The individual accepting these terms confirms authority to bind the company.

2. Company verification

The company must provide accurate and current:

  • incorporation or business-registration records;
  • registered and operating address;
  • beneficial-owner or authorised-representative information where requested;
  • tax information;
  • bank or payout details;
  • licences, permits and insurance; and
  • identity documents for owners, managers and assigned employees.

3. Company responsibility

The company is responsible for:

  • all quotes sent through its account;
  • its owners, managers, employees, agents and subcontractors;
  • payroll, tax, pensions and employment obligations;
  • competence, training, supervision and safety;
  • tools, vehicles, materials and insurance;
  • services performed under its name; and
  • compliance with applicable industry rules.

4. Roles and access

The company must assign only the minimum permissions needed. It must promptly remove access for a person who leaves or changes role. Actions performed by an authorised company account may bind the company.

Credentials must not be shared. Each employee should use their own verified account.

5. Employees and assignments

The company may assign a job only to an eligible, verified and appropriately skilled employee. The employee may be required to acknowledge the assignment before it becomes active.

The company must reassign or notify the customer promptly if the assigned employee cannot attend.

6. Quotations

Company quotations must be accurate, authorised and transparent. The company may not use misleading low estimates, hidden charges or unapproved substitutions.

7. Performance and warranty

The company remains responsible for the job even where an employee performs it. It must honour accepted warranties and correct valid defects within a reasonable time.

8. Payments and company wallet

Marketplace earnings are credited to the company account, not directly to an employee, unless Ejumah expressly enables another arrangement. The company authorises deductions, reserves, refunds and reversals under the platform policies.

Higher withdrawal limits are discretionary and may depend on verification, transaction history, risk and payment-provider rules.

9. Employment matters

Ejumah is not the employer of company personnel. The company is solely responsible for employment contracts, wages, social-security contributions, worker safety, discipline, leave and termination.

10. Insurance and regulated services

The company must maintain commercially reasonable insurance and all mandatory licences. Ejumah may request evidence and may restrict services or assignments until documentation is verified.

11. Data protection

The company may use customer and employee information obtained through Ejumah only for authorised marketplace purposes and must implement appropriate security and confidentiality measures. It must notify Ejumah promptly of a suspected breach involving Ejumah data.

12. Audit and records

The company must keep accurate job, employee, receipt, licence, tax and safety records. Ejumah may request reasonable evidence to investigate a dispute, safety incident or compliance concern.

13. Prohibited conduct

The company must not:

  • assign unverified or unqualified personnel;
  • misrepresent employee identity;
  • conceal subcontracting;
  • bypass Ejumah payments;
  • manipulate reviews or jobs;
  • misuse customer data;
  • submit fabricated evidence; or
  • use Ejumah for unlawful services.

14. Suspension and termination

Ejumah may suspend an employee, manager or the entire company account depending on the risk. Outstanding jobs, warranties, refunds, disputes and payment obligations survive suspension or termination.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, the company is responsible for claims and losses arising from its personnel, services, legal non-compliance or breach, except to the extent caused by Ejumah's own breach or negligence.
